Los Angeles Knight Riders entered their home clash against Texas Super Kings determined to bounce back in style and return to winning ways. LAKR made the ideal start to the game as Sunil Narine once again showcased his class by removing the dangerous Faf du Plessis early in the innings. His sensational 73 off just 27 deliveries, featuring six massive sixes, shifted the momentum decisively in LAKR's favour and left the opposition with no answers. Munro played the perfect supporting role, remaining unbeaten on 55 and guiding the innings with maturity until the finish. Together, Powell's explosive hitting and Munro's composed anchoring powered the Knight Riders to a superb six-wicket victory with eight balls to spare.
